Smile El Morro Fort - Puerto Rico - Comments Please

Hello There,

My first post for a critique. Is this shot too saturated? Could the pic be taken in any different way? The Pic was pretty much as I shot except that i adjusted the curves a bit in PS.

Below is the location:

Appreciate your comments. Thank you all.

Exif:
Camera: Nikon D300
Lens: 50mm f1.8
ISO 100
Camera was in Program Mode so really do not remember the other settings. Will try to add the data soon.

That's a very small image -- hard to see any details. Is there a reason you didn't upload a larger size? It looks like a nice place, at least as well as I can see.

Saturation -- looks fine. If anything, the colors might be a little on the dim side, but that's well within the range of personal choice.

By "could the pic be taken in any different way?" do you mean, composition? Or are you referring to technical things, like your exposure?

If you do mean composition -- the photo feels very crooked, partly because it IS crooked, and partly because of the angle. In addition, the photo feels like it's been cut off on the left, as the fort's edge is very close to the left edge (while there's a lot of room on the right). The line of the walkway leads right out of that edge, which emphasizes that feeling of being cut off.

Those are my initial impressions.
