Default My First Try

I hope I dont get in trouble but I am very new. This is my first post. I have no idea how to get the info for my picture and Im hoping its the right size. I would like to know if I should have fliped the camera up right for this shot. Do you think I should have zoomed in more?

Nice pic, but everything is too centered to my taste. Except the rod.

I was fishing and was trying to get a shot befor the sun set or I got a bite. The pole was an accident. Thanks for the reply I do center alot but when you snap from a chair while fishing you take what you can get. Lol

well accidents can be a good thing. The silhouette of the rod adds some interest to the shot. I think if the shot was taken horizontal instead with the rod off center (rule of thirds) you would have a nicer composition.
