Default Sunset in park

Hello,

yet again, I come with a tricky shot; I wanted to capture the beautiful atmosphere the sun created in this park on the top of the hill, but I'm not sure I have succeeded. My major concerns are:
1. Is the overexposed sun a problem here, or it fits ok in the picture?
2. Is the composition ok? Do you think I should crop the upper part or the right part with the tree?
3. Initially I was trying to overlap the sun with a street lamp for a special impression; is this noticeable, or totally lost?

I do think that the sun is too overexposing and causing everything else just to be a little off... but, i do love the reflections and highlights...

I wouldnt have noticed the street lamp if it wasnt for the statement you made. Conclusion, over exposed.. I dont'know.. perhaps silhouette would have been better. The composition is nice.. I like the stairs leading down with the trees on the right.
