Another post processing option is to replace the sky. I do not know if ps7 allows you to work in layers but in ps you would make a selection of the sky and paste another sky into the selection, move it around, change the opacity and all that to get it exactly how you wanted it.... Or you could use the "clouds" filter...or you could make a custom brush...
Thank you for the advice. I have not done any of those procedures, but will enjoy trying them out. PSE 7 does allow working in layers.

I would like to fix it. . . . if for no other reason than to see if I can.

Do you think it is worth the effort?

Yes! It's your art. Besides practicing your PS work is always a good thing!

Photosbykev: I never really thought of this until you brought it up; and it is a valid point. For maximum control a tripod is essential.

wbrook13: I have never used PSE7, therefore, I am unsure of what it can and cant do. But if it has the basic filters e.g. curves, levels, channel mixers then I think you should be able to accomplish alot. If not then there might be PSE specific tutorials that will help you get the same results.

One thing I cant emphasis enough is that, when post processing, starting of with a well exposed image is always best.
