I like this shot. Most shots with wind turbines are all about symmetry and geometry. Here they look totally random. Makes me think of spines on a cactus. Great color and nice detail in the clouds as well. I'd thought about suggesting cropping out the darker foreground, but that may make the entire shot look a little too alien. Maybe try it and see.

Nice colors, but maybe crop the right side a bit so that the cut off turbine and that little space is gone, and maybe the top a bit to balance it.
Really love the gradation

Hi kneehigh,

Wow! Great image!

This image is great just the way it is, but I agree with Sterling and jughead. I would play around with the crop. I think it might look really nice with a long 16:9 type crop. In other words a long narrow crop. I think this would strengthen the relationship between the horizon and the horizontal lines of the clouds. I would also crop it so that none of the turbines were cut off. The left side is OK (but I'd like to see a little space there), but the right side I find uncomfortable.

One very, small thing... There is a bright spot under the sixth turbine from the left. I would crop that out.

Anyway, great image. Very well done.

I agree on the long narrow crop -- I love the foreground and the turbines, but the sky isn't quite as interesting. I might crop it that way.

I also would crop away the "partial" turbine on the right, which is slightly odd.

Otherwise, excellent colors, and I really do love that foreground.
