Default Still Stylish

Hey All.

Bitterly cold outside but I wanted a shot.

Still stylish

Do you think the composition works?
Does the post processing to sepia work for you? is it the right tone?

The original is on my flickr.

Any other thoughts welcome!

I like your composition and subject matter. Only thing is your exposure is way too dark. I think bringing up the exposure by a stop or 2 will help and make the sepia spring to life. Just make sure to keep some contrast going.

Hope that helps!

I agree with navcom. Once you've lightened up the exposure, I would suggest cloning out the diagonal power wire as well. Definitely a great photo subject there.

I agree, nice subject but too dark. I actually didn't noticed the wire at first, but after Sterling pointed it out I think it's better to clone it out

This look better? I will try to use GIMP to clone the wire. Never done that before. =)

Still stylish 2

Thanks everyone.

Getting there. I think maybe even just a hair bit more. Maybe try increasing the highlights and leave some of the shadows for contrast.

I am new to all of this, but I really like this photo and am not really sure what draws me to it but LOVE it! I do agree about the wire though, it is a bit distracting.
