Default Spire

 Church Spiral

Nikon D40X
ISO 100
Apeture f/6
Shutter 1/250

I was experimenting with lines and different angles. I like this photo but not sure it works.
Is the roofline a distraction or does it add to the photo?

my compliments for such a nice offering to critique......i can see that you read the rules and i thank you for making my job a bit easier.....

i rather like the roof line in this image......it lends a sense of place and perspective to the spire....and keeps your subject from being lost in a sea of blue......although, that blue is a delicious shade and complements the white of the building beautifully.....

i also like the angle that you shot the spire from.....there's a good bit of dimension to it.....

thanks

I find my eyes cycling back into your image and up to the spire, that's good. I think it's a little blue - that's either a touch much in post, or just that, living in London, I've not seen blue skies for way too long! :-)
