Puyallup Fair Shots

It was been forever since I have posted on here. I took these shots during the Puyallup fair and posted them ounce before, but did not get any good critique. I am mostly interested in knowing how my exposure and composition is on the two.

i would just say on the second shot I would've liked to see more in the frame

on the first one, I would PP the ferris wheel out of it. It distracts from your subject. The subject also seems a bit monochromatic to me and the floodlights at the bottom of the shot also take away from the subject.
