Very nice, in my opinion. Looks slightly tilted, though maybe that's an illusion....

Hi from Chicago!

I'm no expert, but here is what I have offer:

The forum rules require you to post EXIF data and have a specific question.

I like the ice on the river, and the DOF, the fog (?) is covering the buildings behind the bridge, almost like the land ends there. I really like that perspective.

I would like to see a bit more color, and center the picture, it seems a little tilted. The side walk on right bottom corner is distracting. Either you can crop that out w/o losing ice, or change the composition such that sidewalk on both sides of the river can be seen, there by making the river at the center.

You are brave to venture out in cold and get the pic!

edit: The ice gives it a titanic feel..very cool.

Yep, you horizon's tilited. In addition, you added the sky in, right? There's a sliver of white on the upper right between two buildings... The buildings near the center of the pic look pasted in, too. Perhaps this is because the lighting of the original pic and the sky that you put in are very different... Without some information, it's really hard to help up you. There are a few rules that everyone has to follow in order to get a critique, so it would probably be best if you added all of your info via the rules so that we can better help you.

This picture has so much potential to be even better! My favorite part about this is the really dark skys, with the ice in the river it self. The picture seems a little grainy and leaning tho. But overall I love it!!!
