Montauk Sunset

I took this over the weekend and have been working on getting the colors just right. What do you think of the colors? It was taken a little before sunset so I had to play around to get the colors to balance and the foreground not to be too dark.

Those _are_ nice colors!

I think you may have gone a smidge too far - the foreground seems a bit too washed out and bright to me. I'd like to see the whole picture brought down a bit so the colors are richer. It's a little distracting having the horizon not be level. The image is very peaceful - probably helped by there not being an obvious focal point; there are too many rocks to focus on just one, but the whitecap in the middle is not quite focused, so it doesn't seem to be either of those. But the diagonals pull me in and make me feel like I'm walking on the beach, just whiling away the evening. Nice!

2nd one is darker with some cropping. I wanted the waves with a little motion blur. Not sure which one I prefer.
