Default First Long Exposure

First time out with the tripod doing these long exposures. Just wondering how I did on the composition and processing - is it too flat?

Gorgeous tone and a fabulous shot. Would personally like a little more foerground, but that's just a little pedantic.

Very nice! I love that motion in the sky. I too would have liked a little more foreground. It's not pedantic, it's more about adding a bit of weight to balance out the sky. In fact, it might even be neat to see the sky "moving" with the rocks actually hiding part of it -- so that their solidity is compared even more strongly with the motion.

Ditto with the foreground comments but I do like this shot very much. Love the interesting sky and the b&w works well.

Very nice!

Also consider how many (foreground) objects to create the feel of balance and challenging. Three, multiples of three or any odd number of objects works well.

It's fun to experiment, isn't it? I am always learning about what I could've done better with my compositions.

Currenlty I am trying to show depth in my images, and I am wondering if perhaps this might benefit with another angle, just to show that depth (where the eye is drawn)
