I hope you don't mind comments from a rather beginner one
![]() I will refer to the pictures from the initial post: first one: great ideea, but I dare to say it may be better if the subject will be in the left side of the picture, instead of the right side. I base my affirmation on Bryan Peterson's book "Learning to see creatively"; the ideea is that the eye sees the picture from left to right; after it reaches the right end, it returns to "rest" on the subject on the left; there are exceptions, though, for dramatic pictures. That is why a subject placed in the right side may leave the feeling that something is missing, or something is a bit crowded or misplaced. Second and third - gread pictures, I love the third one! Forth - the post is distracting, either remove it for that impresion of a lonely house on the field, or try (if you have the chance) a new shot from the post level, and thus include it on the shot. Enjoy! |

I like the composition of the first photo, The flare in the second one looks distracting. The color treatment of the third looks okay but the photo's sharpness might need to be pumped up a bit. The horizon in the fourth photo looks tilted.

![]() dylan, before your next offering to critique, i'd like you to take a minute to review the rules for that section before posting....i hesitate to delete a thread by a new member....so, this one can stand......but, next time you risk it being gone before anyone sees it.... peeper |
