Default Cropping for "Morning Mist"

In this picture, I was trying to capture a real surprise - a very peaceful, almost dreamy view from work after I pulled an all-nighter. It was a borrowed camera, and I can't say that I was at my best. My question: the horizon pretty much splits the picture in two - normally I'd like to do a 2:1 split, in either direction, but here that would either mean loosing that bit of red in the lower left, or it would mean loosing the true sky blue in the upper left. I think both are important to the picture. What do you think? Would you crop to a 2:1 ratio, or "break the rule of thirds" to keep these colors?
