Default Seattle cityscape

A shot from a few months ago. Taken out on a ferry in the harbor. I don't have any info for the pic since it was taken a bit ago. Any C & C? Thanks for looking!

Welcome to the board

Would be good to let us know what you have done with the shot... for example, camera/lens and post processing at a minimum. Your camera probably stored what is known as EXIF information in the jpeg itself.

My first reaction is that it is super-saturated, which is a look that I dont like at all, so im curious to know what post processing (editing of levels) you have done, or if this was as shot off the camera. I think the give away is the sea, which looks quite unnaturally blue, and as its choppy should have some white in it (which is now blue rather than white)

That said its a nice scene. Apart from the saturation issues there are only a couple of things I would have done differently -- I would have cropped aobout an inch in from the left (where the buildings dip down closer to the horison and I would have cropped out some of the sea making the horison on the 1/3 line.

Nice effort

James

I agree with Dr James. My first reaction was "I don't believe the sea was so blue" It would be interesting to see the shot straight from the camera.
