I like it. To me, my eyes hit the blurred reflection and are drawn up as the lake narrows until I get to the sharp image of the sky itself. Great colors, too.

SeJun, yes it was blowing about 30 knots of wind directly into the camera. I was hand holding the camera as well to exclude the shoreline of the lake I was shooting across. The colors were vivid to say the least. I was driving into work and looked to my left and saw the sky. I am actually standing on the side of the highway to take the shot. This was taken in a downtown area of a small city looking east into the sunrise in Florida.
Thanks TC! |

The Colours are awesome, but I have to say I cant look at it for any length of time. The blur of the lower section makes my eyes continually try to focus to the point where its quite distressing (hurts) so I have to look up and focus on the upper half.
Does it look any good when you crop out the lake?... or does that take too much away Its a nice shot, and the composition would be perfect if my eyes could cope with it. James |

Beautiful and unique, a photo that makes my eyes try to "refocus" is unusual.
Don't change anything!

Thanks LenDog!
Doc, I took a couple with less lake in the foreground and they are easier on the eye but they have more of the fuzzy clouds. I haven't tried to crop it into a panorama. I will see. Thanks for the suggestion. Jim |
