Talking Twin Lakes Colorado Feb 2010

I was trying to capture the entire scene, even to include the ice fishers... can you see them.... I was also trying to capture a nice sence of depth in this shot, but I just do not get the same feeling as when I took the shot.

EXif info
ISO 200
Shutter 1/500
F stop f/14
18.00mm

What are your thoughts, I think it is a great shot and a beautiful place, but somehow the photo is just not giving me that same sense of beauty.... know what I mean?????

I think it is because the picture in your mind remembers the vastness of space that the photo size just can't convey. That shot done in a large format camera will blow you away. But the ice fisher people look just like dots in the snow no matter what you do. Wonderful mountains. Jim

I think it's a good image, but I'd clone the "dots" out. The fishermen are so small they detract from the image.
