Default Lincoln Memorial

Hi All,
I am a beginner to photography and a new member on here. I would love to get some feedback on this image of Lincoln Memorial i took last week. I would also appreciate it if someone could guide me as to how I can get the board and the trash can at the bottom out of this picture without cropping. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Nice picture you have there. You should be able to clone out the sign & trash can with some of the snow. Exposure & composition: those trees are pretty dark and don't add a lot - why not crop most of them out? Gets rid of the foreground as well as puts focus on the memorial and that nice bit of sun flare.
Nice first post.

Thank you Zona. I will try and edit out the trees. I wish I was paying more attention and was able to capture those trees better.

Thanks for sharing. In my opinion, the shot looks cluttered - the signs, trees, and the trash bin don't add anything positive. The photo looks more of a snapshot to me. Could have been better if you were able to find a different angle when you took this photo.

Cheers!
