Default Washington State Sunset

Hi, Shot this without my tripod, it has potenial, i think, but not as sharp as I wanted. The one thing I cant figure out, is the light spot in the center. the sun was already down. Any tips??

Can you post the exif data? That will help us in figuring out things...

But... its a decent capture and you are correct in saying that it "has potential"

I like how you got the waves crashing and the colors need warmed up a bit though, almost too dark in the foreground

I was not prepared for these shots, We ended up making a turn on the beach and that rock was just staring at me, and snapped a few in P mode. Im still new to photography, so I have tons to learn
