Default Waterfall On The Central Coast...

I was attempting to capture this image of a waterfall along the coast of California!..Due to the angle of the sun, it continued to over expose the upper portion of the falls!...This is what I ended up with! I angled the camera to give it my own touch. I think one tends to first inially look at the photo, but then is urged to step back and tilt your head to take a second look!....At least that's what I feel when i look at this image!

The tilt is interesting--not sure if it really works here. If you feel you need to tilt your head, you probably shouldn't have put the tilt in. Beyond that, the picture isn't too bad--there is nice flow, and if it wasn't tilted the framing isn't really too bad.

Yep, I agree; don't like the tilt at all, at least not for something cropped this tight. I can't tell which end us up!

I agree concerning the tilt. It may have been better if the falls went from upper left and stretched down to lower right corners. But at this crop, it would leave out most of the rock details, which are nice. Waterfalls can be tricky with light. Outside of filters, it's a matter of just finding the right light. I have the same problems from time to time.
