Ok so this is my first official shot at HDR. Here is the general info on it:
First, setting up the shot. Given I haven't bought the Sigma 10-24mm I have my eye on getting a good wide shot composition wasn't an option unless I got a dramatic perspective or was far away, so I went for a shot that had a decent amount of foreground and a powerful background. I set bracketed the shots (2.0) and got 3 RAW images from that. I generated the HDR in Photomatix and did some Tone Mapping. Then I threw that into Photoshop and added some local saturation/desaturation and some sharpening. Lemme know how the final result turned out!

The very notable part here is the photo's colors as they look very natural. I just wish there's more story in the photo to make it look very interesting, or maybe you could have taken the shot in a different angle.

There are some better angles for sure! The only thing limiting that right now is the lack of a wide angle lens... the max I have is 18mm (on a DX, so 27mm)... once I get my 10-24 I will be back at this site with a much more dynamic story to tell!!!
In the foreground to the left is a very modern kids playground with insanely weird toys and gadgets... it's very space age but fun... the kids love it!
