Hi, im a begginer in photography, and all i use is a g11, so here's my shot:

and i cropped it and added levels in photoshop, the burned edges are from the window of the car ; )

I like it! Sorry, but I can't think of much I would change. Maybe just a title, to let us know what you were thinking when you took the shot?

I find your shot intereting but a bit dark. Your camera pointed towards the sun just decided to underexpose everything. Is there any way you can control your camera in manual to adjust the exposure to a different level?

Oh, it's dark alright!
Dark like a junkie rock star in the back of the limo on the way to the next show!
Dark like the dark night of the soul!
Seriously though, it would be a completely different shot "properly" exposed.
barebe, do you remember my question about the exposure in my Beach Sunset shot? Beach Sunset, too easy?
I was already planning to post a properly exposed shot to set the scene, this is the perfect segue!
