Default Eerie

EXIF
D40
f/5.6
1/800 sec.
ISO-400
18mm

Does this creep you out or make you think of anything in particular?

On a side note, is the composition, etc effective?

It makes me a bit claustrophobic. Everything is closing in. Kind of cool.

Reminds me of a jail .. which, um... I... er, visited once...

So yeah, I guess you could say it makes me think of being confined etc

Default Very nice

I like the picture a lot. The colors just go together my favorite part of the picture is the sky and - the clouds.

It sort of reminds me of something from a video game... like Resident Evil or Silent Hill.

To me, the sky is ominous. But the fact that the yard is empty is what's kind of creepy to me. Like no one's outside 'cause they know something bad's gonna happen (or already did). With a little playing around in Photoshop I bet it could be reeeeally eerie.

i agree with the above comments. this photo is emotionally intense.
i would probably crop the left side of the photo not to show the end of the building (pitched roof). this may add to the the feeling of confinement inside an infinite yard.
