Question Sky

Looking to hear the critiques the amount of sky used in this photo. Original photo was cropped and balanced with Flickr.

no flash

Hi, I'd say the amount of sky is ok, in terms of proportion of the frame. But I'd also say it looks kinda strange with the bottom edge cropping the view where it does - it's like a landscape with no horizon, when I look at it, it seems something is missing

Yep, that works better for me! Looks good

A smaller thing you might want to in post-processing is adjust the perspective, so that the verticals are vertical? (At each side of the frame you can see they tilt inwards.) In this shot it's not a big deal, but if you shoot buildings often then it's something to look out for.

In this shot I don't mind the buildings tilting inward, at least the horizon is straight! The perspective is like you would see if you were there.
I think the buildings are a fun subject.
It looks like maybe you were working with a fixed lens?
I would have maybe gone vertical and stepped back a few feet, to include more sky, and the bottoms of the buildings.
