Hello Sheri,
and "Welcome" to a great site and wonderful community, I hope in time when you get used to things you will enjoy your time here and feel more at home with us ![]() These are nice images, I especially love the first one. I really like the way you lead us down the road and it makes me wonder "what's down there?" You have some lovely detail and light in your images and I think for your first posts you did a really nice job. Well done and I look forward to seeing more soon, remember we all started somewhere so if your stuck and need advise just ask, I am sure there is always someone here who will and can help you. Have fun, David.

I love the pictures I think the best one is # 3 because it is really sharp and it has the the dark color on the white background. I love the snow around the leaf i'm sure in full resolution the picture is much sharper, I think its the best from all 3 of them. The picture #2 and #1 it also has very nice settings just in my opinion it need more light or more intensive colors (I like very intensive colors so its just my opinion) but anyway I think pictures during the winter are the best. Good job. Next week i will try to take some pictures outside in snow and I wish I can find settings like you have on picture #1.

"New" to sharing photos, but hoping this one will upload ok b/c last time I tried, it had all the lines across it and such....
This is a cotton field in Coffee County, AL that I shot on New Years Day. I shot with my old "faithful" Minolta 5D, which has survived its 9 lives, to say the least! I'd love some feedback on it. I edited with a few layers of "colorized" to keep the blue tones alongside the b/w, and I cropped as a panoramic. cotton field in alabama on Flickr - Photo Sharing! And I still can't figure out how to post a large pic in this box, and not just a link. Any help on that? Thanks! Jenn |

I think this is posted in the wrong place, inside someone elses thread in the critique section?
That being said, I like the photo, but I wish the trees were a lot larger, or there were a farmhouse or something! To post an image first edit it so it is 740pixels on the long side, then upload by browsing on your computer for the image.

Hi Doc--
So, on uploading, I'm clicking on the "mountain" icon within the Message line. Is that correct? B/c when I do it that way, it only gives me the option to put the link in......maybe it's my wacky mac or the fact that I still haven't gotten the swing of this mac. |

Hm. I am new also! I do not want to hijack *sheri*'s thread. Maybe a moderator can move these posts to a new thread.
I have only posted one photo, one every 24hrs I believe is the forum rule? Looking back, now I remember, I resized it at Photobucket and added the IMGlink from there. There is a tutorial in the FAQ section I believe. You could try the Manage Attachments dialog box below the reply box and add an attachment... let me know how that works. In a few hours I will be posting my second photo, I would love some criticisim.
