I like the walkway leading you right up to the subject. I also really like the subject.
This one would be a prime canidate for an HDR image because of all the contrast. There are several areas that are too dark and several that are too bright.
You can adjust these by using adjustment layers and then painting out the areas you dont want to change

How you framed the subject for this shot was executed properly. In terms of perspective, you did good also. However, lighting-wise, it was not done that well. I agree with a comment above that there are areas which are too dark and others, too bright.

Cheers!

This is an extremely formal composition. Essentially it is symmetrical but for the lighting. In some ways this is in keeping with the ancient tower and walkway, but it lacks a bit of interest. I think the composition would benefit from something, even something small, that broke the pure symmetry; a bird, a cloud, a blade of grass, something that would break the funerary smoothness of this image.

This needs to be HDR processed or shot at a different time of day. There are too many dark and light areas that it distracts from a great subject.

I think it's beautiful. I like the way it is exposed. HDR has its place, but if you use it everytime you have a lot of contrast, you end up with a very synthetic looking shot!
I think a subject like this is perfect with some areas on the verge of black shadows and others on the verge of blowing out! That is how it looked standing there, I'll bet!
If you don't have a $5000 HDR monitor you are only getting a simulated HDR anyway. If you are going to print it out, paper is no where near HDR. Most HDR shots I see wold have been better simply exposed properly, like this beautiful shot. If you don't want high highlights and dark shadows, take your shots on an overcast day!
I think the composition is very nice, any asymmetry needed is provided by the light and shadow.
I would expect in a full size shot many of the details would be visible in the shadows! Androgs? Got a link to a larger size? Would love to see more of your work!
