Question Learning landscape...would love critique and answers =)

Ok...So I just got my first dSLR camera and am still learning!! Decided to get up and out before sunrise to get some color in the Washington state constant overcated skies...Here is one of the pics...if you click on it, it should bring you to flickr to see the other sunrise pics. I am wondering what others think about the sky and reflection - hard to tell where sky and water meet...is that a huge deal on a picture like this in professional photography? Let me know what you think!! All feedback is appreciated!!

beautifull picture and composition, I would just boot up the saturation and contrast a notch (just my personal taste) the shot is nice as is.

I'm a newbie myself, but personally I really like that you can't distinguish the water from the sky. I think it is a beautiful shot. I also would probably boost the saturation/contrast, but as barabe said, the shot is great as it is! Well done!

I agree with doing some minor adjustments for saturation/color. The lack of a dividing line is "a huge deal for an image like this in professional photography"....it's part of what makes it a good image!
Nice capture.

Your shot is beautiful, I would also boost up the saturation a bit. I don't think it's a problem that you can't recognise water from the sky.

I agree, this is a great shot, but imagine how perfect it would look if there were a (not too) contrasting difference twixt sea and sky, showing a dreamy horizon. I don't suppose there was much you could have done if you were in a hurry, but landscape photographers will wait hours to get that perfect light. Great starter shot. PAUL

This is a superlative first effort. Really, very well done! I could not disagree more with those who want more of a horizon line for two reasons: 1) there is a bright line just below the trees that suggest where the horizon is located, and 2) the ambiguity adds interest, inserting a line would be a detraction. I do, however, agree with the idea of playing with the saturation a bit; you may find it adds even more color interest and drama.

I think this is an excellent shot. Beautiful quality of light. Thankfully you haven't been tempted to bang up the saturation ( One of my many sins)

And I love that there you can't tell where the water ends and the sky begins.
