I am a beginner too, so feel free to ignore my comments.
I like the picture, basic composition and color.
I feel a little disoriented looking at it. Maybe including just a little more of the base of the building and water would give me a frame of reference.
I like the curve at the top, though, so you would have to zoom out a little. Just enough to show the bottom of the walk at the left side of the picture and a little of the posts?
Unless there is something there you are trying deliberately to leave out of the shot?
