Are you clearing the memory card when you upload the pictures to your computer? Most cameras use the card first, then when that runs out of space, switch to internal memory. Make sure you have the pictures you want off of the card and try formatting it with the camera (it'll be somewhere in the menu, every camera is different).

I upload all the pics to the computer as soon as I get home and they are automatically removed from the camera. Then, when I take 9 pics the "internal memory full" comes up, and no more shots can be taken. Can the memory cards go bad? I've only had the camera since August and had the same card in there the whole time... Sharon, total digital newbie |

memory cards can go bad but i would try reformatting it as reccomended above.

Did as you suggested. It worked when I got the camera...how it got switched, I have no idea!!! Gotta read the instruction manual now that I found it online...misplaced the paper copy. My bad! maybe you did not change the mode where the camera will save the pics...
wierd but usually it automatically changes its storage location to the card once you put in the mem card....
