Cool What to buy?

I am not realy experienced in photography, have been using a Kodak DX7590 and found it mostly adequate for my needs but it died recently and it's time to replace it, thinking about what I need............
1. must be rugged as I do a lot of bush walking and it will surely get a few knocks
2. that feature that allows for compensation of shake sounds good (I have a bit of a tremor)
3. delayed / timed shutter release
4. remote shutter release
5. good zoom
6. macro
7. rechargeable batteries

Anybody out there care to comment on good value cameras available with the listed features?
PS is there a solar recharger available for camera batteries?
Thanks
Don
