Have you thought about reading the manual? I just did, and I don't even have one! Stick it on P mode (program), go to the menu and find long time exposure Long Time Exposure Choose how long the shutter stays open. None 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 seconds Judging from the manual it looks like this is the most you can control the shutter speed, which isn't unusual for that type of camera. (I apologise for my some what sarcastic response, there's something about large coloured text in forums that bugs the hell out of me)
