Christmas isn't a huge deal around here: our family is fairly relaxed about it. That being said, we still do decorate a tree (a little one!) and I always enjoy taking pictures of it.
Here's this year's offering as well as some behind-the-scenes how-to shots. ![]() NIkon D80, Nikkor 10-24 f/3.5-4.5. 8 seconds @ 10mm, f/22, ISO 100. Here's the same shot as taken with my Canon SD1000 ![]() And a behind-the-scenes shot. ![]() As you can see, at 10mm the camera has to be very close to the tree: about 24" in this case.
