Hi there,
First of all I just wanted to "Welcome" you to the site and a great community, I really hope you enjoy your time here. Now as for the image, It's a corker, and I would say that you have been very gentle with the HDR side of the editing process. If you had not mentioned it the fact it was HDR I might not have noticed. It's a super image and I love the reflection in the water, the lighting and colors are excellent and I really like the detail. Well done on a super image and I look forward to seeing more from a nearby local ![]() Take Care. David.

Thanks for all the comments people
![]() Perhaps not with every shot I take, but usually I try and keep my use of HDR to as minimum as possible. In most circumstances (not all), I believe that if you can tell it's HDR then it's failed. All my shots are handheld, but I do use the slight delay between pressing the button and the camera taking the shots to avoid as much camera motion as possible. For any Nikon D90 users, this is how I setup my camera to capture the 3 exposures intended to become a HDR image. Gordon Mould | Photography Blog: Nikon D90 - AutoBracketing burst for HDR |

Exactly! HDR is a cool and very usefull technique if you don't overdoo it, this is a good example of how HDR can improve a frame. Good job!
