Default NO Photoshopping :)

I've been taking this sort of photo since long before digital photography but every time I display or publish one I get the same response "nice photoshopping"

* Where Was it Taken?
My backyard
* What settings did you use?
See the EXIF data
* What gear (camera, lens etc) did you use?
See above
* Why did you compose the shot as you did?
The model isn't very cooperative but I use strategically located bait to encourage him
* What post production work have you done on the shot (if any)?
Just the usual, levels resizing and a little output sharpening
* What were you hoping to achieve with the shot?
I was hoping to put a smile on people's faces
* What did you do well?
I took a funny photo
* How could you have improved it?
If I knew that I would've done it

Since the rules state one photo per thread click here to see how I did it.

And here's the photo.

Thanks for looking.
Ron

Nice work. I think it would have been good to frame a little more to the right and capture more of your model's tail but I can appreciate the fact that he wasn't the most co-operative of subjects. Framing wider and cropping in is often a useful strategy when faced with such situations because it gives you more room for adjustment.

Thanks Wulf, I agree but as I noted these guys don't take direction very well . Yes I do use that strategy successfully but I used this example because I happened to have a photo of the setup. I have a few other examples on Flickr

Thanks Gazsus

Great shot. I also liked the ones on flickr. They are really creative and very nicely done. Keep up the great work.
