Default Moon with a point and shoot--> second try :)

i've been trying to take some nice shots of the moon, here are the new shots

Pretty good for second try. A bit over exposed. They'll look better if you convert to black and white also. Keep it up and you'll have some nice pics...

so how did you take it? what did you do special to really capture the moon with a point and shoot?

well i took someone's idea. He used a point and shoot camera and placed binoculars in front. His shots were amazing so i tried the same technique and im amazed by it. I'm very happy with my results, it wasn't easy at all hehe

It's not easy shooting the moon that way. It's called afocal method. I took some the same way with a point and shoot through my telescope...

grate shots

It's not only the moon you can shoot with this technique, you can try some nature shoots too.

I have tried to make a tripod stand for the binoculars so it can be easier

P.S. the only problem with this technique is the huge chromatic aberration, but I guess that's due to the quality of binoculars or P'n'S
