Very intresting. Thanks! I'll see if I can find some around here, I think I'd be looking at around 4,000 miles round trip if I were to borrow some. lol But thanks for the offer!

I think this is the best of the bunch so far. Very nice composition and lovely rich colors. Thanks for sharing.

Default I Must be retarded....

I tried it and got mush. I am assuming it is the lens.... so I am going to go and rent a macro lens and try again.... i want to buy one so bad....but i have to wait. remodeling the kitchen and decorating a nursery for my unborn child is a more of a priority...I guess....

Also, I can't seem to be able to put a straw through a bubble to make it bigger...just not happening... everytime it pops...any pointers?

Put the straw in. Blow many small bubbles. Pull the straw out of the liquid but not out of the bubbles. Blow more and pull the straw out then. The soapier the straw is also the less likely it will pop the bubble.

Here are my attempts! This was so much fun! I don't have a macro lens but I don't think it mattered. I also had more luck using a plate of soap with a touch of water, and using a toliet paper roll to blow the bubbles, ensuring large bubbles.

Default Soap bubble

Awesome idea, I can't wait to try this myself.

Thanks for the inspiration.
