I was playing around with my camera at night wondering what to shoot. I was looking around until I decided to look up and found the "North Star" although at least "I" thought it was because it seemed like the brightest one. I zoomed in all the way and managed to get it locked on, of course taking night photos requires slow shutter speed and this was set at 1/3 I believe with ISO 400? So as I took the shot, I moved the camera due to hand shake and noticed it made a line pattern, so I decided to do it again moving the camera aimlessly and these are the images I got...

To create this exact look I find it easier laying on your bed at night. keep every light off, turn your clock away from your bed, close your blinds/curtains and place the camera on your chest zoomed out looking upwards to your ceiling.
Use a shutter speed of about 3seconds to bulb, depending on the object you are going to make. Use a Laser Pointer, draw objects on your ceiling while the shutter is open. Even though its REALLY dark, stay away from low appatures settings. try f/8 - f/20 and LOW ISO! give it ago, and since laser pointers are red, put your camera on B&W. |

It looks like what I used to do in my Etch-A-Sketch when i was growing up. Very interesting.
