Default Let's play chess with water

Here is an interesting shot i had taken recently and lot of people asked for the setup!!

here is the picture!!

Let'ts Play Chess

and here is the setup for the same!

Setup for the honey shots

1. First the setup.. took a black cloth (my best friend for indoor photography!) spread it on the floor very near to my glass door which was giving good natural light.
2. Then got 4 spice jars (that's all i could find handy) to elevate the glass. Cleaning the glass 1000 times saves lot of time later on.. sometimes you cannot even recover the scars / spots in post processing!
3. Kept the chess board on the black cloth
4. first tired to make water drops but the water was spreading itself too fast.. so then chose to use honey. Honey had a small yellow ting which can be cleaned by desaturating yellow in pp
5. shot just couple of shots till i was happy.

here are few more bonus shots i got through the same setup.

Sweet setup, I love the simple ones. I might try a wax polish on the glass, it makes water bead on you car!
