Smile water droplets

well im freshly new at photography, and i really wanted to try those water droplets, out of 150 shots i got 5 shots with actual droplets and out of 5 shots, 1 shot where the droplets were in focus. Here it is

nice pic, anyway may i know why you make your picture B&W, im just curious...

May I ask how you did that? I tried doing it with a fast shutter speed, but didn't work. The water looks like a "stream" not a droplet I have a SX10

well i like the black and white cause those are neutral colors, our eyes perceive only 2 colors, black and white, there is no distraction by all the other colors and since our eyes are not distracted by other colors, the b&w picture shows the real, the truth.

well i took that picture with a point and shoot camera....i used 1/640 sec, ISO 400 (i didn't use the flash) f5.9 and i had to play with the distance between my camera and the droplets in order to get them in focus. It takes a lot of patience, but when you finally get your shot, it is one of those happiest moment. So good luck with it
