This is what got me hooked on photgraphy!
I had my camera only a week and was playing with settings when this turned out! I haven't looked back since!

Thanks!
To be honest this was the first week I rec'd my camera (about 18 mo ago) and was just playing with settings!
I put an apple on a container high enough for camera to get picture - then turned on the water and played with how much I let out.
I set my camera at Shutter priority of 1/500 and the rest was all on auto.
The data shows
f5.6
ISO 720 (no flash)
at 55mm
Hand held leaning on my cupboard.

I didn't know a thing about settings at the time so I was just playing with settings to see what would happen! Sometimes it's beginners luck!
I mostly shoot in Manual now - and in RAW always.
I should try this again with some other stuff - I like the strawberry falling in a wine glass. It's way overused - but still looks cool!
Just play and play - digital is great - you can delete what didn't turn out (and no one knows but you! )

Take some and post here! I have loads of fun learning. I post to many forums to get different opinions on what to do and have a notebook with lots of notes I refer back to.

As said before, try using flash. The flash will help freeze the action.
Just a tip
P.S. Awesome shots!
