Amazing images!
I've always said I'd play with the polarizer once I learned how to work everything on my camera properly. That was in August. Of 2008.

Which model exactly are you talking about? Is that a CPL? I would spend 20$ immediately on a CPL, but people say it's better to buy some decent filters instead of the cheap ones. I was thinking about buying some more expensive one, 40-50$ maybe.

Thankyou WVCoalMiner for this information. I was looking for something here on how to use one but all I kept coming up with was posts. I just got a digital polarising filter for christmas and am trying to learn how to use it. I did use it when we last went fishing, I was fortunate enough to capture some pelicans but I am unsure as to whether I shoud have used it or not, it was an overcast day and I'm not sure as to whether the colours of their bills were brought out properly. Maybe it was me, and I hadn't had the filter adjusted properly, but in that situation I didn't have time to play around with it. I'll put in a cpl of pictures here of the ones I really liked, to show you what I mean. They were taken in the auto shoot mode. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it one day soon. Thanks again. P.S These are taken as they came out of the camera, they have had no post production (or whatever it's called) as I do not know how to do that. I have to learn all the complicated stuff about my camera ie. f/stops shutter speed etc before I try and learn all that too lol. |
