@ Snapdragon: Hmmm, I remember a long time back that we used to play with things called "punk sticks" around the 4th of July. In any case, snapdragon, what these are are the unscented part of the incense stick (well, they're the incense stick pre- all the fragrances ) Anyways, they're like these. Might be a possibility if it's mainly the fragrance that's an issue since the sticks are pretty much just bamboo and sawdust.

@Peeper: Good luck Can't wait to see what kind of results you get.

@ Sime: You can't bribe her? Hey it's a better suggestion than hiding out and candidly catching her smoking lol

Thanks Nichole , I have a hard time with smoke of any kind but this looks like fun ,& I so want to do it LOL I will see what or if i can come up with a photo , LOL mine may have to be steam ,LOL .

Steam works too Or if you want a similar result, you could just play with food coloring in water... totally smoke and fragrance free

very nice and quite sensual with color...my next experiment.
I am intrigued though...I shoot with an XT and I thought it had a setting for shooting in
single color as an option....so why the color gel?
This question is basically directed to SARAlonde...I was puzzled by your post on using the
gel for the smoke shot.
