Nice tut! I love your example photos. I tried to do this a year ago but it didn't quite end up like yours I think it's because the torch bulb was too big !

These pictures are awesome! I love the second one especially! HOW ON EARTH DID YOU GET THAT PATTERN!?! I tried for ages but I couldn't figure out how to get it.

Here are the favourites from my first attempts last night:

This first one is more a typical pattern. I played around in GIMP with it but I think I may have overdone it. My post-processing skills are still very much lacking!
DSC_0258 Edit

This one isn't particularly good but I think it looks like a universe expanding or something like that. Pretty cool!
DSC_0255 Edit

This one is my favourite. It looks to me like a ball balancing on a flat surface in the middle.
DSC_0229 Edit

Yours also seem to have come out a lot sharper than mine have. I guess I need to practice my technique a bit more, or use a better light source.

Thanks for sharing this though! It's a lot of fun!

this is great!! Have you tried the two colors yet? What you do is when you cover your lens..you also switch the color of flashlight you have.
