Well done everyone, I've attempted drop shots before but chucked a tanty when I just couldn't quite get it. So last night til about 1am this morning I decided to give it another go. This time I was rather impressed with myself

Hope you'se all like

Oops, the attachments didn't work, all fixed now

Well I tried it and here is my result. Not the best but I'm happy with it for my first attempt.

Here is one where all I did was add food color but it looks like a blood droplet. Pretty cool I think.

I usually try to be gentle in Post, but this time I just rammed up the contrast and brightness in Lightroom. This is about as sharp and as macro as I can get with my current equipment. I think it's good enough to explore an artistic side but no where near where I know I need to be.
