Default Electric Fuzz

It really started as just an average, boring shot of my cat. I was amused because she was looking rather annoyed that I had the camera pointed at her. Here's the details if you want, but they're mostly not relevant: Canon 20D, 50mm f/1.4 lens, ISO 100, f/1.8, 1/125sec. Natural light in my living room during the day, no flash.

Then I found a Photoshop plug-in called Fractalius. I cropped down the photo to just her face and then started messing around with Fractalius. And messing and messing and messing until I finally had something I liked. It's a weird plug-in... like most, it's really easy to go overboard and make some mighty bad looking pictures (most of the attempts looked downright silly). But I thought this one worked well for this picture. She really is a nice, calm, friendly cat... but I just really liked how this made her look rather evil.
