![]() On this one (and the others in this gallery), I went out on a photo drive with my son... no real agenda other than we wanted to take some railroad crossing shots. All of the shots were bracketed HDR, handheld, at +2,-2,0. Camera is Canon 40D and lens is Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. This one in particular was shot at ISO320, f/8.0 in Av mode. Initial processing/cropping/color corrections done in Lightroom 2. Then the images were passed to Photomatix for HDR auto-alignment (remember, handheld) and tone mapping. Finally back into Lightroom for more tweaking. The border and signature was added by the LR2/Mogrify plugin. The next thing I'd really like to do with this image is to turn it into an animated gif that has the lights flashing like a real railroad crossing sign. -Steve Last edited by sdo; 07-08-2009 at 12:51 AM. |

I sure do like how you got the reds to look in this image. How much luck are you having with the animated stuff?
