Default The Lake Shot

This one was taken with my Canon XSi on my tripod with my 18-55mm Kit Lens at Wine Cellar lake in Charleston, WV. I actually took 2 photo's with one metering on the water to get the reflection of the sky and then one taken metering on the sky to get the colors. Once I had the 2 pictures I loaded them into photoshop and merged them to make the sky match the reflection in the water. Boosted the color a bit and there you have it.

This is a really nice peaceful and serene image, good work. I like how you have perfomed a simple merge rather than an overprocessed hdr shot which so many people would have been tempted to do. It has kept it looking perfectly natural.
