Talking Vanishing Point

My first proper post so be gentle

http://www.flickr.com/photos/gpics07/3562008955/

Camera: D90
Lens: 18-105mm VR kit lens
Camera Mode: Aperture Priority
Shutter Speed: 1/100
Aperture: f/13
Tripod: No
Flash: No
Location: Grand Union Canal just outside Loughborough (Leicestershire)
Software: Lightroom for the main processing, with some Photoshop for cropping/sharpening.

Further Details: I've always enjoyed photos with vanishing points as they tend to get you thinking about what is around the corner, or just out of shot. I used a sepia tone as I felt that any colour may have distracted the eye from the leading lines.

Hi and welcome to the forum. That is a nice example of a vanishing point. It looks like it goes on forever. Thanks for sharing it.

I really like the way you perfected it. It makes me wonder what is at the end, a boat, or a forest, or a meadow?

Great perspective and the sepia did it justice. Nice work!

Default Sepia

Good call with the Sepia tone.

I tried to picture it with B & W or color, but I think you definitely made a great choice with washing the picture in a nice sepia tone.

Good work!
