Unhappy My Little Earth

I'm having some problems still with my 360 degree panoramic. I used a canon xsi, manual mode. But for some reason, the EV still changes based on the metering. Should I be using spot/center weighted/partial/evaluative metering? I used the AE lock, but a couple of pictures still came out exposed for the sky versus the foreground.

Here's my example:
I used a tripod, manual settings, and AE lock but a couple shots still came out different from the rest. Any tips? should I wait until there are no clouds? Overexpose the sky??...

You probably had your white balance set to auto.

Nice image, I really want to try that.

Default more settings

Here's a bit more of the settings. I used manual mode. f# and exposure time didn't change. ISO was set to 200 so that didn't change. White balance was set to cloudy so that didn't change. Here's an example of what did change automatically.

EXIF:
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400) FIXED
Aperture: f/5.6 FIXED
Focal Length: 18mm FIXED
ISO Speed: 200 FIXED
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

some pictures the Exposure Bias is 0, others it is -1/3, others it is +1/3...
I don't get it.

Ah! You must have had exposure bracketing active. I can't remember where you set that, it's on one of the menus though. I bet that's what it is.

EDIT: Press menu, go to second menu from left. Top entry is AEB. Make sure that it is set to zero (an underscore under zero, nowhere else). If you see three marks there, then AEB is on and you will get varying EV every three shots.

not too sure about your camera, but mine has AE lock. If yours has that too (it probably will), maybe give that a go.

Another thing to consider for these is to have one color at the top of the panorama so it looks more like an entire sky. I dont know how to explain it better lol. Ive only ever taken one of these,

hey, i use a canon xsi too, and i find that when i use manual mode, the exposure sets by itself. i can't find a way to lock it down. maybe you could try using Shutter Priority or Aperture Priority? on those modes, the exposure can be locked down.
did you figure this out in the end?
