Thanks all! @vsa -- nope, very little post-production. I love to find ways to do interesting things like this all in one shot. I recently saw a "How I Took It" thread about a bursting balloon, just as it was exploding -- and a point that caught me was that the exposure didn't have to be fast or perfectly timed. In fact, the exposure was very long -- there was just light at the right time to hilight the one thing we wanted to see. That's my idea behind this shot as well -- light only the parts that matter, and sneak around in between. :P

Good luck -- it takes some effort and patience (and, in my case, cold hands), but it's totally worth it. One local store which is showing my photos asked for an "unusual" one to add into the mix, and so I will be showing this one.

It looks like you had a lot of fun and the image is fantastic. I liked the consistency in the blue light on the post as well as yourself. It would be interesting if you can do something similar and have your head doing different things for each post.
