Very cool effect...............How about drilling a hole in the top of the cap and screwing it on. Then you could still light it, and then clone the flame away from the top and it would look like a cool glowing bottle with all the flames inside, with the cap on. People would have a hard time figuring out how you did it then. Great job.........thanks for sharing.

Exclamation With the cap...

As Mr. PrimeTime suggest, I tray to make the same effect but with a hole on the top, after that I make my best effort on Photoshop and try to remove the flame and my hand, and this is the result. What do you think?

Default Bottles on Fire

Great shots!!!!! WoW!!!!!!

Man you have no idea how much I have enjoyed reading this thread and imaging the bottle with the cap go BOOM LoL!!!
As I am a coward and afraid of glass will try it with a P.E.T. bottle and gasoline
HAHAHA!!!! That would be a shot to remember!!!!!!!!!!!
OK serious question...
Why have to wash with water the inside of the bottle??

Thank you very much , to be honest the shots are absolutely awesome!!!!!

Question Answer

To you question:
It is because inside the bottle there is no more oxygen, so the next attempt you make, simply it wont happen, but if you fill it with water and then you throw it out, you let more fresh air (oxygen) in to the bottle. And it will be more FIRE!!!!.

Thank you for your comments, and Iam waiting to see your Bottles on Fire.

Nice technique, looks a bit dangerous, but the shots are amazing, will try it soon.

Thank you.

I remember doing this with bottles of aftershave when I was younger. Some of them would whistle when you did it. Those are some great shots. Have you tried using a long stemmed lighter to ignite the flame? It might make it easier to keep the initial flame out of the shot. I have also heard them called candle lighters.
